Dick, (Richard) Lichtenberg, born in Julesburg, Colorado on March 21st, 1943. Passed on August 24th, 2024.
He loved his country.
Loving husband to his Viking Princess, Lisa. Proud Dad to Kristen, Karen and Stephanie. 'Papa Dick' to his grandchildren, Brandon and Claire. Father-in-Law to Matthew and Ruthie. Wicked and fun-loving brother to Karyl, Laurel, and Cindy.
Dick has gone to find his bird dogs. They are waiting for him, on point, in the sagebrush.
"Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rage at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light."
- Dylan Thomas (1947)
Richard's passion was sharing skills necessary for shooting his favorite game; Olympic Trap / Bunker. His giving and enthusiasm will be missed by all of us who shared a love of this crazy game. In lieu of flowers, he would be thrilled if you choose to support the local youth shooting programs recognized by Washington Youth Education in Shooting Sports WAYESS. Here is the link:

I miss you my friend. I cannot look at a flying clay bird without thinking of you. And when I re-load and pop a Cheerio on the top of my shot-load you will be there.
