Joyce Elaine Hunstad was born on June 13, 1947 to Harold and Dorothy (Olts) Hunstad in Seattle, Washington. She passed away on October 25, 2024 at Swedish Hospital in Seattle. October 25th happened to also be her mother Dorothy's birthday and we hope that they were able to have a lovely reunion in Heaven together.
Joyce grew up in the Greenlake district of Seattle and in the summer would enjoy taking the Phinny trolly bus to Woodland park zoo with her sister and mother.
Later the family moved to the Lake hills area of Bellevue where she graduated from Sammamish high school. She later married and had a son.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her son James (Jillene) Fetscher of Hillsboro,Or, Her sister Beverly (Andy) Lambert of Tacoma, Wa, three grandchildren Kristin (Sergio) Slansky of Forest Grove,Or, Kirk (Sabrina) Fetscher of Willsonville, OR, Harold(Maya) Fetscher of Hillsboro,OR and two Great Grandsons Noah and Mason.
No funeral services will be held at this time.
I remember Joyce when I was growing up . She was a nice person. Sorry for your loss! I am thinking of you all!
