Imogene Tokarz, 94, of Bothell, Washington, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2024. She was born on August 17, 1930, in Glendale, Arizona, to Jasper and Fern Sexton.

Imogene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chester Tokarz, son, Robert Tokarz, brother Mark Sexton and sister Audrey Agnew-Eaglin. She is survived by her son Andrew Tokarz (Nancy); her grandchildren, Coralie Jones (Hanifa), Nathan Tokarz, Heather Lange (Benjamin), Lisa McCall (John), Melissa Johnson (Jay), and Bobbie June Morris; as well as many great-grandchildren who were the light of her life.

Imogene was an 89-year long resident of Arizona, moving to Washington at age 90 to be close to family. In her later years, she found joy in the company of her beloved cats and in playing cards with family and friends. She was a woman of many talents and cherished hobbies, including camping, fishing, and gardening, which she enjoyed throughout her life. Imogene was also known for her famous spaghetti and meatballs, as well as her unique and surprisingly delicious banana mayonnaise, recipes that will live on in the hearts and kitchens of her family.

Imogene's warm spirit and loving heart touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of sharing in her life.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to an animal charity in Imogene's memory, as she had a lifelong love for animals, especially cats.

Imogene's legacy of love, kindness, and joy will forever be remembered.
