Erik Isaacson, 54, of Federal Way, Washington, passed away on January 2, 2025. Erik was born on May 14, 1970, in Federal Way, WA, to Harold Isaacson and Audrey Isaacson (both deceased).
Erik is survived by his sister, Kim.
Erik had a diverse career, working as a painter for Kenworth Trucks and later as a merchandiser for Coca-Cola and Home Depot. His true passions lay outside of work. He was an avid enthusiast of 80's rock music and loved nothing more than going to a show with his friends. Erik also had a deep love for his two German Shepherds, who were constant companions in his life.
Known for his gentle soul, he cherished his friendships and nothing made him happier than hosting a good barbecue for his loved ones. Erik also had a particular interest in history, especially international affairs and could engage in lively discussions about world events with anyone willing to lend an ear.
Erik took great pride in his Scandinavian heritage. A highlight of his life was a memorable trip to Norway with his father, Harold, where he was able to explore his ancestral roots firsthand.
Erik will be remembered for his friendships, his love for his dogs, his passion for music, history, and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
A celebration of Erik's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a local animal shelter in Erik's memory.
