John Harrington, 70, passes away peacefully at Evergreen Hospice in Kirkland with his wife Karen and daughter Danielle at his side.
Born in Syracuse, N.Y. on December 19, 1954. John graduated from SUNY Buffalo with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He moved to Houston where he met and married Karen.
John and Karen settled in Redmond WA raising their two daughters Kimberly and Danielle.
John was an avid photographer and enjoyed hiking and biking with family. He also enjoyed backpacking with his guy friends. One of his proudest achievements was summiting to the top of Mt. Rainier with them.
John was predeceased by his daughter Kimberly Harrington and his parents John and Joanne Harrington. He is survived by his wife Karen Harrington and his daughter Danielle Harrington of Redmond WA. He is also survived by Deby Six and Andrea Rusher his sisters in law.
In the Syracuse area he is survived by Debra Merryweather, sister, Timothy Harrington (Julie) brother, and Sheila Harrington, sister.

John, my best friend and soulmate. I will always cherish the memories together. From our first date when you showed me your Bishop Grimes High School ID just to reassure me you were “a nice Catholic boy!!” We shared countless enjoyable adventures like hiking, biking and skiing, We had heart aches along the way especially the passing of our daughter Kimberly. John was a man of integrity and kindness. I will miss your gentle spirit, John. Rest in peace with Kimberly. Your wife, Karen
