Gary Lee Kennedy, 90, of Des Moines Washington passed away on September 24, 2025.
Private services will be held October 18, 2025.
Gary was born March 10, 1935 in Lexington Nebraska to Francis W. and Mary E. Kennedy. He graduated from Highline High School (Burien, WA) and the University of Washington- (Seattle, WA).
He was a member of the Marine Reserve.
He held many job titles at the Boeing Company in his span of 36 years, last being Business Manager Computer Systems for Boeing Defense & Space Group. He was a member of Marcus Whitman Presbyterian Church. He served on the board for his local Old English Sheepdog Club and participated in many golf leagues.
He is survived by his wife Joan of 69 years and his children. Jodi Stull and her husband Forest. Shelly Kennedy Allison and her husband Kevin and his son Steven J Kennedy. He has three beloved grandchildren: John, Geoff (Melissa), Paige (Peter) and one great grandson Jack. He also leaves behind two old English Sheepdogs: Elizabeth and Taylor.
