How Did We Do?

With deep love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tammy Lynn Taylor, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, whose heart of gold and selfless spirit touched everyone she met. Her strength, compassion and quiet resilience will always guide us. She passed away surrounded by the love of her family.

Born and raised in Kirkland, Washington, Tammy was one of six children and the beloved daughter of Keith and Ruth Miller. She grew up with a strong sense of family, a deep appreciation for nature, and a gentle kindness that stayed with her throughout her life.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rick; her children Todd of Lacey, Khanthaly (Dave) of Hawaii, August of Lacey, Leticia (Mike) of Everett; and her bonus son Rick of San Diego. She was the proud grandmother of ten Riley, Hayden (Maddy), Zaveya, Tyson, Joseph, Michael, Jamisyn, Jailey, Hayden, and KJ and the adoring great-grandmother of Lincoln and Mazhara. She also leaves behind her sisters, brother, and many nieces and nephews who cherished her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her mother Ruth, father Keith, sister Elaine, brother Brian, and her nephew Little Keith.

Tammy found joy in the simplest things. She loved getting her hands dirty in the garden, wandering around picking up rocks that "spoke to her," and being outside where she felt most at peace. But nothing compared to the love she had for her family. Her children and grandchildren were truly her whole heart..her reason for everything. She showed up for us in every way that mattered, always putting our needs before her own, always giving more than she ever took. She loved each of us with a depth and devotion that can never be replaced.

Her legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

We will have a celebration of life at a later date.

So many memories. You were always part of the first cousins group. We played together, fought together, laughed and even cried together. Your passing makes us realize we are not guaranteed tomorrow so make the best of each day. Love you Tammy. So proud of you and the mountains you had to climb to make it to the wonderful person you became.♥️
