In loving memory of my cousin Darren William Paul.
Darren and I were the same age, born less than two months apart, and grew up together more like brothers than cousins.
Born in Seattle, Darren had a deep love for the Pacific Northwest and everything it had to offer. He was a son, grandson, nephew, and cousin who truly knew how to enjoy life. He grew up riding horses and dirt bikes, always drawn to adventure and the freedom of being outdoors. He loved to have fun, share a laugh, and spend time with his friends. If there was a good time happening, he was probably right in the middle of it, creating memories and stories that people will be laughing about for years to come.
Darren will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love of life, and his natural ability to bring people together simply by being himself. He also had a big heart for dogs and loved them deeply. He leaves behind family and friends who will miss him deeply and carry his spirit with them always.
More than anything, Darren loved his mom, Sandy. Their bond meant the world to him, and that love was clear to everyone who knew them.
I take comfort in knowing Darren is no longer suffering and is now in a better place. Rest in peace, Darren. Please give Aunt Sandy a hug for me buddy.
