Kelly Verne Evans Sr., age 61, of Seattle, Washington, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026. He was born on June 17, 1965 in Fort Bragg, California to Iva Brown Evans (Iva Lois Brown) and Darrel Glen Wing. He was later adopted by Verne H Evans Sr. on October 23, 1980. He grew up in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

He was a hardworking man who always worked to provide for his family. He will always be remembered by his compassion to help others as well as his sense of humor and fun smack talk. His love for his children and granddaughter was absolute and unconditional. He liked a variety of sports but he loved his football team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

He is survived by his children: Verene, Josiah, Jeremiah, and Donovan Evans; granddaughter, Lavena; mother, Iva Evans; sister, Camille; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Kelly Verne Evans Jr.; adoptive father, Verne H Evans Sr.; siblings: Joan, Ben, and Verne Jr. His legacy of kindness and devotion will continue in the lives of all who loved him.
